Bank+Vine

I'm rating this in the category of "fine dining" restaurants, since it's expected to have higher quality from the get-go. The food was fresh and prepared with exquisite detail. There were blends of flavor that were unexpected yet meshed well, making my meal explorative and pleasant. Compliments to the chef. They have a good kitchen from my experience. My problems arose with the service and atmosphere. We weren't attended to by the staff as frequently, and it took quite a while to get dessert and the check. They were kind but sort of rushed to get away from our table. As for the atmosphere, the most significant issue was our seating. We sat in the front at the booth tables. The other patrons were so close to us! We felt as though we were one big table. It ended up making the night very awkward since you could hear what everyone was saying, resulting in us whispering. The front room set up is not used appropriately, since the whole premise is that it was a bank. At that point I didn't care and just wanted some privacy while eating and conversing. Also, the lighting was too bright.
